Like It A Lot Radio Todays Hits and Modern Electronica
REST IN PEACE
Like It A Lot Radio was a music radio station that broadcast on the DAB network Riksblokk 2 from October 19, 2022, to April 26, 2026.
The channel played a rare mix of pop, 90s rap, progressive house, and drum & bass. The jingles featured a true EDM festival-opening aesthetic blended with cheesy old school, “larger than life” jingle liners. Voice-over for most of the station’s distinctive sweepers was done by the late Stig Eldred.
The station was crafted by sound designer Frode Langhelle as a fully automated VIBE-coding project. It created seamless transitions between well-produced electronic tracks using various Python scripts running 24/7. The station was also home to Klubblisten broadcasts and featured multiple DJ sets each week.
The channel achieved strong listener numbers within the 15–25 demographic, especially in Oslo. With its international sound, it attracted fans of electronic music from all over the world, across all age groups.
The channel was distributed by Mediehuset 5000 Bergen, which also held the broadcasting license and managed various music agreements with Gramo and TONO. 5000 Bergen was also responsible for advertising sales. High operating costs related to music rights management did not match the revenue potential, and the channel was therefore taken off air on April 26, 2026.
Thank you for listening to Like It A Lot Radio. May the station rest in peace.
